We went to the Lime Tree Theatre in Limerick on 11th December to see 'Little Red Riding Hood'. We enjoyed a performance of music, dance and singing by the children in 1st to 6th Class on 15th December and we went to mass for Advent in Mullagh Church on 17th December. We discussed the story of the nativity and we made nativity scenes in Religion. We learned lots of Christmas songs and poems in English and Irish. We painted Christmas stockings and trees. We also enjoyed playing with Lego and jigsaws and we worked on our turn taking skills. Santa visited the school for 'Festive Fun' on 18th December. We exchanged Christmas cards as part of Kris Kindle and we enjoyed some yummy hot chocolate. Happy Christmas!
