We spent January settling back to our school routine after the Christmas holidays. We enjoyed hearing all about our Christmas memories during circle time. We are continuing with 'Show & Tell' every Friday but now the children are invited to bring in an item starting with a specific sound each week. We started maths games with children from the Oak Room every Friday. We made St. Brigid's Day crosses at the end of the month and we have been busy looking out for signs of Spring in the environment around us. We were very excited when members of Kilrush Credit Union visited the Acorn Room to present a personalised Knook Book that they sponsored to all the children.
